About Carmen

I reside with my husband in South Orange County. I am a mother and a grandmother. I have a love for art that goes way back to my childhood. My art reflects, my love for our Creator, who is the ultimate artist. I love vibrant colors and using the power of light to uplift the spirit, and also to evoke emotion. You can see my paintings in person in Dana Point, California at Bella Bazaar.

• My first love as an artist is painting and drawing portraits and the human body. To this day, I continue to participate in many life drawing and life painting workshops.
• At times I volunteer as an assistant art teacher at our church.
• For three years I was a volunteer make-up artist, followed by four years as a make-up supervisor at The Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach, California.
• I have studied under many art teachers at Valley Jr. College, Saddleback College, and continue to be coached by a local artist, Hyatt Moore.
